Responsibilities
The Kitchen Assistant will:
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen production.
- Wash, clean, and maintain kitchen and work areas.
- Arrange and organise ingredients and kitchen stock.
- Package customer orders neatly and accurately.
- Check orders before dispatch to confirm completeness and proper packaging.
- Assist with handing completed orders to riders.
- Support catering and event preparations and execution.
- Run necessary kitchen and business errands.
- Purchase ingredients and supplies from the market when required.
- Maintain food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Handle other general kitchen duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- At least one year of experience in a kitchen, restaurant, catering business, bakery, food business, or similar environment.
- Minimum SSCE or ND. A university degree is not required.
- Fluent and clear English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and safe food handling.
